New Hyde Park, NY: The LIGBT, sponsored by Storm, ran its sixth Sport Shot Series event at Herrill Lanes. Wesley Grant, Uniondale, NY won the $1,000 top prize by defeating 2nd place finisher James Marinelli, S. Hempstead, NY 286-248. James earned $650 for his runner-up position. This was Wesley’s second title since becoming a member 10 years ago. Finishing in third place was Carolyn Willis, Bethpage, NY with a 226 worth $500. Rounding out the top 4 was Devon Johnson, Brooklyn, NY with a 198 worth $400.

James bowled well and had 2 doubles but he just couldn’t keep up with Wesley’s strong finish. Carolyn started out with a triple but 4 straight opens hurt her title changes. Devon just couldn’t carry and had to settle for 4th position.
