$2,000 MAJOR TITLE

 

Congratulations to Tyisha Hawkins for winning LIGBT's Memorial Day Weekend House Shot Major. Tyisha won her first singles title by defeating Lou Barbera 270-247 in the final shootout. Tyisha won $2,000 while Lou took home $1,500 for 2^nd. Finishing in 3^rd was Jason Nicholas with a 243 worth $1,000. Rounding out the top 5 was 4^th place finisher Weldon Drayton Jr. with a 224 worth $700 and 5^th place finisher Kenny Facey with a 188 earning $500.

 

The Memorial Day Weekend Major was a record breaker with 291 entries and a $16,725 prize list paid out to an amazing 78 bowlers! With side action, total payout was $27,280. Scoring on the house shot was high with 49 & under cuts ranging from 718-753, 50 & over cuts ranging from 723-800, and scratch cuts ranging from 660-719. Carmelo Randazzo shot the only perfect game of the tournament.
