NEWEST SENIOR CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to our latest senior champions for winning the top prizes on Sunday at AMF E. Meadow. Rob Miller won the handicap title worth $1,000 while Joe Scianna earned the scratch title worth $400.

Rob won his 4^th LIGBT title by defeating Glenn Swirson and Dominick Napoli 251-243. Rob threw a strike on his first ball in the 10^th to secure the title. Both Glen and Dom earned $425 each for their 2^nd place tie. Finishing in 4^th was Joe Frizzell with a 238 worth $300. Rounding out the top 5 was Darcy Monroe with a 214 worth $250.

Joe won the scratch title by striking out in the 10^th to defeat Rob Miller 246-235. Rob earned $250 for his 2^nd place finish. Finishing in a tie for 3^rd were Don Owen and Mike Dioguardo each earning $200.

LIGBT's senior bonus event drew a nice crowd of 66 entries and paid out $5,800 to 23 bowlers. Cut scores on the house shot were 908 in scratch and 969 in handicap. High handicap series of the day was shot by Joe Frizzell with an 1,125. Top scratch series was shot by Don Owen with a 951.

Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks to everyone that participated on Sunday at AMF E. Meadow. The LIGBT is off Super Bowl weekend and returns with 2 tournaments the following weekend; a Valentine's Day Handicap Doubles event at AMF Garden City on Saturday, February 14^th (noon start) and a House Shot Spectacular at Strike10 Deer Park on Sunday, February 15^th (2 squads; noon & 2:30pm.) Registration is now open for the doubles event.
