Syosset, NY: The Long Island Generations Bowling Tour (LIGBT) is pleased to announce it has a formed a partnership with W.O.N Television Network to broadcast all LIGBT final shootouts. Currently, LIGBT video-taped finals can only be viewed on LIGBT’s YouTube channel or on the Tour’s website; LIGBTour.com. This agreement gives millions of additional viewers access to watch amateur bowlers competing for thousands of dollars in prize money.
W.O.N Television Network is an independent syndication network based in Brooklyn, New York. Its home base station is an internet television station called "Channel 48 WWON-TV, which is also located in Brooklyn, New York. Channel 48 can be seen on W.O.N’s website wonnewyork.net/wwon48 & on the @streamonabudget Showcase Network Platform on Roku.
The LIGBT will be airing on Channel 48 WWON on Saturdays @ 2:30pm ET, starting on December 16th. Additional stations, through the W.O.N. television network, will be carrying LIGBT shootouts in the near future. All LIGBT final shootouts will still be available on LIGBT’s YouTube channel and on the event’s website.
The LIGBT-W.O.N. partnership greatly improves the quality of LIGBT’s videos. With W.O.N.’s production and editing assistance the viewers now enjoy LIGBT final shootouts with slow motion replay, exciting graphics, and a video scoreboard. The goal with the partnership is to continue to upgrade the videos with new innovations that will enhance the viewer experience.
The LIGBT is one of the largest amateur bowling clubs in the country with over 3,000 members. In its first 15 years the LIGBT has distributed over $10,000,000 in prize money and attracted over 75,000 entries. With an expanded television audience the LIGBT growth will continue for many years ahead.
