WIN $1,000 TITLES!

Congratulations to Shawn Cummings for winning your first LIGBT event on Sunday at AMF Garden City. Shawn took home the $1,000 top prize by defeating 9-time title holder Andrew Mienkiewicz 238-222 in an exciting shootout. While Andrew earned $550 for 2^nd, Glenn Buchanan earned $325 by locking up 3^rd with a 214. Rounding out the top 4 was Nas Freeman with a 188 worth $250.

Sunday’s sport shot event also featured our “end-of-year” bonus prize fund which was won by Dan May with a 715 series earning $1,000. Finishing in 2nd was Rich Hengel with a 689 worth $500. Rounding out the top 3 was Andrew Mienkiewicz with a 686 worth $250. A total of 10 bowlers cashed (667 was the cut) in the bonus event.

Our final sport shot tournament was a big success as 119 bowlers competed for a $5,780 prize fund shared by 31 cashers. Scores to cash on the “Beaten Path” pattern were 663 at noon and 648 at 2pm. Total payout for the day, including the bonus tournament and side action, was $12,145.

Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks to everyone that participated at AMF Garden City. Our next event is this Sunday, August 24^th (noon start) at AMF Wantagh. This is our popular Handicap Doubles tournament featuring a $2,000 top prize. Have a great week and we hope to see you soon at an LIGBT event.
