JASON KUBAT WINS

2^nd SR SCRATCH TITLE

Jason Kubat defended his senior scratch title at Strike 10 Deer Park with a convincing 269-214 victory over 2^nd place finisher Mike Dioguardo. Jason's victory earned him $350 while Mike took home $200. Finishing in 3^rd was Russ Cohen with a 204 worth $160. Rounding out the top 4 was Darcy Monroe with a 198 earning him $150.

The Saturday noon event attracted just 12 entries and paid out a 4-person prize fund totaling $860. High series of the day was shot by Russ Cohen with a fine 1,029 4-game series. The cut to advance was 976 in the younger division and 896 in the older division.

Congratulations to the cashers and thanks to everyone that competed on Saturday. To increase senior scratch entries the LIGBT is moving future senior events to Sunday and run both the senior scratch tour and the senior handicap tour simultaneously at the same center (but as separate events.) The first duo senior event takes place Sunday, January 4^th at AMF Wantagh.
