NOLAN HERRON WINS

SPORT SHOT SPECTACULAR

 

Congratulations to Nolan Herron for winning your 2nd LIGBT title on Sunday by defeating Jason Holley 243-235 at AMF E. Meadow. Nolan earned $1,500 for his victory while Jason took home $800. Finishing in 3rd was Cameron Potts with a 216 worth $500. Rounding out the top 5 was senior bowler Anthony Kemp with a 203 worth $400 and 5th place finisher 17-year-old Jason Lam with a 200 earning a $300 SMART scholarship.

 

LIGBT’s Sport Shot Spectacular was truly “generational” as bowlers from age 12 to 81 competed. The event drew 152 entries and paid out $8,250 to 41 cashers. The side action paid an additional $4,445 bringing the day’s total payout to $12,695. Cashing scores on the “Boardwalk” pattern ranged from 649 to 660. High series of the day was shot by Jaiden Ng with a 736. Wildcard winners were Al Green (1,309) and Jason Lam (1,323.) Raffle winners were Maggie Joseph and Shawn Cummings.

 

Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks to everyone that competed at AMF E. Meadow. The LIGBT welcomed 15 new members on Sunday. Get ready for our next event; a House Shot Spectacular THIS SUNDAY, March 30th (noon-2pm-4pm) at Strike 10 Deer Park. This event features an $80 entry fee, scratch and handicap divisions and a $1,500 top prize.
